Day of.... stuff.

Well, today was pretty all right. Bombed a few tests, but I'm not worried, they were all just dumb mistakes, I'll be all right after.

Went to Ripu's house after school, with David and Krish, to play XBox. On the way there, I stole Krish's cellphone, and started talking to his girlfriend; he then swung his bag at me, and hit me right smack in the head. It was harder than any punch, that's for sure, it hurt quite a bit. Anyway, he intended to hit me in the chest, so that's ok I guess. I cut my mouth, and had a slight headache after.

We played Halo for about 4 hours, and I must say, it is absolutely AMAZING! The graphics are crisp, sound is 3D, aw, I was in heaven!

His dad dropped me off at 10, got on ICQ, and got a message from Sam, asking if I wanted to go to the Semi-Formal (This isn't Sam in gr. 11, this is OAC Samandeep for the rest of you)

Now, let me give some background. Sam and I have gotten really close over the last month or so, and actually, we've gotten physically close too. Just sorta resting heads on each other, playfully punching each other... and (here's where it's different) holding hands, and tickling each other. NOW, I've been going on with this, all with the intents of being "just friends." But I had a feeling I was giving the wrong signals.

It's entirely possible for us to go to semi, as just friends too. But I still don't want to give the wrong signals. My question is, should I say yes or no? There is nothing wrong with Sam, no other reasons not to go, except what I've said. Only other thing is that I was thinking about asking another girl, but I'll see bout that.

Quite a simple, but difficult conundrum....

Thanks for the feedback, I intend to tell Sam how I feel.

I envy you Melanie... that system is absolutely amazing... What game did he get? We were playing Halo, a first-person shooter (Like Doom, or Quake) and it was GREAT, and hilariously FUNNY! oh man...

The thing is though, all of the systems, graphics, sound, performance wise all look the same now. Now we hafta see the games. That's going to decide which system I'll get. That and money. Gamecube's leading the cash category, costing me only $345 CDN, but I could get it for $200 CDN (thas a question of morals there.)

Melanie, play that XBox as much as you can, trust me, you will be addicted!
